Roughly a year ago I had an issue with grey screen on Windows Server 2022 with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. A script helped clear out some registry key but there seem to still be problems with sessions with grey screens. There is a new fix that seems to be better and does not clear any registry keys. Instead it activates Citrix Universal DLL Injection. After upgrading the VDA, make sure this value is set:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CtxUvi]
“UviEnabled”=dword:00000001

This helped in my environment.

If you need to delegate Azure Bastion to a user without assigning too many rights, here are some tips for you:

• User needs to have Virtual Machine login or Virtual Machine Administrator Login on VM or Resource Group where the VM is located
• Read rights are needed on Bastion Resource Group
• Make sure to wait 5-10 mins after applying settings

By default, if you send a mail on behalf of a Shared Mailbox, the sent item will be saved in the user’s primary mailbox and not the shared mailbox. If you want to change it to expected behaviour, i.e. save the items in the Shared Mailbox, execute following command. This works in Exchange Online and Exchange OnPrem.

set-mailbox -MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled $True

set-mailbox -MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled $True

By default on an on prem Exchange 2013/2016/2019 environment, internal server names are displayed in the message header analyzer, which you would not want to expose externally.

This is how it would look like:

To remove that information, execute this command in the Exchange Powershell. Make sure you have the right Send Connector Name.

Get-SendConnector “Internet” | Remove-ADPermission -User “NT Authority\ANONYMOUS LOGON” -ExtendedRights ms-Exch-Send-Headers-Routing
